Little treasure ~ Oblong tourmaline cab ( I purchased from Janis Kerman) set in 18kt yellow gold with a .03ct Canadian mark Hearts & Arrows, VS, F diamond set in an 18kt white gold bezel, Hanging on an 18" 10kt gold cable chain.

When making this piece I was thinking of something found, something aged, organic like a roman coin. The stone came with its own unique qualities and has had its own unique travels. I pierced out leaves in the back to add subtle dimension, to distract the eye from its imperfections and to honour its brilliant beauty leaving it to be the stunning gem that it is and I know it will have the time of it’s life with it’s new owner ;)! The small diamond is the little pointer to our home the light of awareness.
